Above you can see the images published on the 2010/04 issue of Audi Magazine Brazil. The concept for the shoot was to portray the new Audi R8 V10 year 2010 in the modern, yet tropical scenery of Miami. The shoot happened during the first week of December of last year, coinciding with Miami’s Art Basel. With many journalists from around the world waiting to Test-Drive the new R8 V10 version, we felt privileged to be able to shoot the car for almost half a day. Between Miami Beach, the Brickell area and Key Biscayne we managed to get some incredible action shots and blend the car with the city’s atmosphere. For more shots from that day Click Here.

Check out what Alexx Henry and Viv Mag just did for the magazine’s recent cover and featured spread. The work that this collaboration put together is simply stunning. The entire production was certainly something that no average magazine is going to be able to produce, especially on a regular basis, but it certainly shows new possibilities and opens another amazing door for creativity. With the iPad coming out in a couple of weeks now and naturally its followers, we definitely are entering a new era of publishing, and reader interaction.

Wired Magazine goes Digital – Tablet App

February 16th, 2010 08:53PM

Check out this amazing video demo by Wired Magazine on what could be the beginning of a new era for the publishing industry. With the introduction of the Apple iPad, magazines and newspapers that were once struggling with smaller and smaller customer bases, and fleeing advertisers, might get a second wind and potentially be able to re-invent themselves. Basically any periodical out there will have an exponentially wider field to interact with customers, tell stories, showcase advertisers, and share opinions as this new technology opens doors that we were not even thinking about not too long ago. The “Race” just got faster and much more interesting. Photographers, writers, videographers, advertisers, readers, art directors, magazine editors and the list goes on, should all be extremely excited and restless about this new age to come. As a photographer, I just can’t wait for it to happen, to be able to share better imagery and tell stories in so many different ways.

Adobe Lightroom 3 beta – Slide Show Test

January 29th, 2010 06:04PM

Featured above is the Audi R8 V10 2010, shot in the streets of Miami in early December 2009. More details of this shoot to come…The video above is a test of a slide show created by Adobe’s Lightroom 3 beta. Unlike the previous versions of the software, this one allows for exporting to several different formats WITH music. What a delight, they heard us. With just a few clicks in less than 2 minutes you can create this simple and clean slide show. Adobe can certainly add more editing features to the software’s SLIDE SHOW tab and perhaps start the ability to edit video, which seems to be the trend now with Apple’s Aperture 3. I’m anxious to see the full release of this software sometime in the beginning of spring. Like in previous versions, Adobe should add more features not included in the beta testing edition. Finger’s crossed for more cool stuff. And you will hear more about the Audi R8 soon…
